Berlin Accommodation and Fleetwood Mac

Hello everybody,

Hopefully you can help me. I am looking to travel to Berlin in October to surprise my girlfriend with a trip to the Fleetwood Mac concert - October 19.

Does anyone have advice on getting tickets? I%26#39;ve been on the O2 arena website and have e-mailed them - awaiting a response. I can%26#39;t get the part of the website where I want to order tickets in English so want to make sure I order the tickets properly. If anyone has any advice, it would be appreciated. Just to check, I take it the arena is not far from Berlin city centre and accessible.

Also, can anyone recommend somewhere reasonable/cheap and in a good location to stay for a few days in Berlin. I%26#39;d be looking at a hotel or self-catering accommodation. The Best Western is an option I%26#39;m looking at but other recommendations are welcome.

The O2 World is not far from the city centre, it is located in Friedrichshain (which some would consider city centre in any case), near the Ostbahnhof. That means, that any hotel that is located close to the central railings (the Stadtbahn) would be great, but it is within easy access also from hotels farther from the Stadtbahn.

One good example, in the Best Western category, is Best Western Mitte, which is located near the Friedrichstrasse station, from which you can easily access the O2 World, but also all major sites.

Thanks very much for your help - much appreciated. The O2 got back to me re tickets and I rang their ticketline and spoke to somebody who could speak English and the tickets should be on the way.

I booked the Best Western Ost because the ratings on the trip advisor are very good and it was very reasonable.
