I%26#39;ve got a stag weekend to organise and was considering Munich. It won%26#39;t be the typical %26#39;lager lout%26#39; stag do, just a group of guys who like a good drink and a good laugh whilst keeping hold of their dignity! I%26#39;d appreciate any recommendations for nightlife, hotels, etc.

Ok, no worries.
Probably looking to go about March/April time next year, not exactly sure on the dates as we want to make sure we don%26#39;t go during Easter Holiday%26#39;s. There%26#39;ll be roughly 16 - 20 lads all in their mid to late 20%26#39;s.

So you want to choose between Munich, Barcelona and Gothenburg? But you%26#39;re a little to unspecific in what you really look for. There are hundreds of options, depending of budget, time of year, interests, duration of stay etc...
In Munich you%26#39;ll certainly find lot%26#39;s of places to have a good beer, nice bars of all kinds, good restaurants as well as cheap fastfood places, many clubs, lots of hotels in all price categories and a good public transport system, as well a interesting sights, museums, parks and so on...

..just be aware that Munich is quite a conservative place with old fashioned manners etc... so if you are 16-20 lads in your twenties you will find it hard to go anywhere other than the HBhaus or the large beer gardens... but beware... dribbling drunks are not tolerated... friendly inebreation is welcomed... many towns are starting to really clamp down on stag parties... munich is no exception...

As much as I love Munchen, I would have to say that Barcelona (One of my 3 fav cities in Europe) is an excellent choice for this type of trip.. Have fun!
