I%26#39;ve been to Berlin a few times.
I%26#39;m planning another trip and, this time, I would like to walk the whole length of the ex-Berlin Wall.
Tour companies usually organize 2-4 hours tour and charge a lot of money for this.
As I know Berlin reasonably well, I%26#39;m looking for a book (in English) that would describe the walk from start to finish. Basically a walk book for the Mauer.
I tried absolutely everywhere on the net... with no success.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

160 km Berlin Wall Trail
berlin.de/mauer/mauerweg/index/index.en.php
Due its length in first place designed as a bicycle trail.

There%26#39;s a book called %26quot;The Wall%26quot; by Andreas Hoffmann and Matthias Hoffmann that has routes (to split it up).
It%26#39;s available (even in English) through Amazon.de market place (and you should be able to get it sent to the UK); you cd check it out on Amazon.co.uk too.
2-4 hours wd be driving round. There%26#39;s a film shown at the Bernauer Strasse info centre of a helicopter flight along the Wall (in 1990 before it disappeared).

Absolutely fantastic.
Many thanks for that.

Abalada/Lynda,
Sorry... I should%26#39;ve said a BIG THANK YOU to both of you.
Information was very helpful. This is exactly what I was looking for.

You%26#39;re welcome! The Bernauer Strasse Info centre is well worth a visit if you%26#39;ve never been.
Bernauer Strasse is where the houefronts formed the Wall and people thrw themselves out of the top floors. Film of that in the infocentre.
That part was the least developed of wall areas until very recently with the location of the death strip very clear to see(I%26#39;ve seen the changes from 2005 to now).
