Still trying to track down the Bavaria-Bohemia ticket

Someone has told of a %26quot;Bavaria-Bohemia%26quot; ticket which would be good to take us from Nuernberg to Karlovy Vary. However, we can find no information as to who sells this and where to buy it. The German Nat%26#39;l tourist office in NY has never heard of it and even tried to find out about it.

What company issues it? We will arrive by river cruise and can go straight to the hauptbahnhof on Sunday 23 August. Can we buy it there for immediate use?

The state of Bavaria, which is to my knowledge not a company. But it is sold through any public transport ticket system.

You can buy it at the Hauptbahnhof

- from ticket machines

- at the DB travel center (ticket counter)

- at the VAG customer center (ticket counter)

If you buy at the counter it is EUR 2,00 more expensive.
