Good Morning: I have a vacation in Frankfurt planned from September 28 to October 6th. I am asking help on what to do...was thinking of renting a car and doing day trips to Rothenburg, Heidleburgh and some other day trips...does anyone have an idea of what to do..I like some of the %26#39;touristy%26#39; things, and walking through little shops and exploring the areas...I would appreciate any help..thanks

Get a travel book; there is no shortage of day trips you can take from Frankfurt and you don%26#39;t have to go so far. You could take a hotel room near the train and take train trips or drive, depending on your budget. You are close to the Middle Rhine towns, as well as Koblenz, Cologne, Bonn, Mainz and many other destinations. Get the book and see what appeals to you.
