Going to the Reeperbhan Festival in September - any advice?

Hi we%26#39;ve decided to book a random weekend at the Reeperbhan Festival, Hamburg. First time in Germany! Has anyone been to this festival before? Any advice on how to get the most out of it as there are lots of venues and acts?
