Train travel Paris to Frankfurt

I would like to know the approximate ticket price per person (4 of us) to travel by train from Paris to Frankfurt 24 December 2009. I gather there will be 2-3 connections on different trains, but the DB website doesn%26#39;t give a price for the journey. We need to budget for the various train trips we will be doing in December this year, especially as our ZAR is currently over 11 to 1 against the Euro!

There are direct trains from Paris Est to Frankfurt.

Cheapest specials are EUR 156. Normal price is EUR 416. For 4 persons in 2nd class.

You can book at earliest 89 days in advance. Due the timetable change in mid December the new timetable maybe however not yet online at this time. Normally it will be end of October. The specials tend to sell out very fast. Thus you have to book as soon as possible.

The fares may slightly differ as the timetable change is often also used for some price adjustments.
