My wife and I returned in November of 2008 from the two week cruise with Grand Circle from Amsterdam to Vienna. The vast majority of the ports were in Germany It was a great bang for the buck. With the Euro so high (although it had started to back off a little) it was sure nice to have all the meals included.....and we agreed that they were quite delicious and varied......not as many choices as on ocean cruises but nevertheless sufficient choices to satisfy any appetite. Wine was included with the evening meal. Tours were included at every port and we were thankful that Grand Circle provided the %26quot;headsets%26quot; so that everyone could hear. The Guides were well informed. The tour leaders were knowledgeable and helpful. The cabins on the RIVER ADAGIO were comfortable and had some great features. All it all was a wonderful trip.
