We need to be near Nancy, France (actually, Luneville) in September, and would like to travel via the Frankfurt Airport. Can we get a high speed train to Nancy from Frankfurt? The RailEurope brochure available in the U.S.A. shows such a link, but we and others are unable to pull it up on their website. Thank you, travellers.

No. There is a new high speed railroad (LGV Est) between Baudrecourt and Vaires-sur-Marne. This route is used by high speeed trains between Frankfurt and Paris and Strasbourg and Paris. Also for trains from Paris to Nancy. But there are no direct (high speed) trains from Frankfurt to Nancy.

Keep the defaults, i.e. the first entry of any drop down list may coming up.

Thank you, that is very helpful info. Travel agent here could not tell us that.

We would like to travel from Paris to Nancy for only 2 days. From what I saw, this would costs us $101 each way. This does not seem reasonable. Could anyone help us verify the price?

You can check prices for domestic French trips using

Direct TGVs seem to be between EUR 17,00 (TGV PREM%26#39;S discounted special off peak time) to EUR 67,50 (TGV PRO 2NDE standard fare peak time) one-way for one person in 2nd class.
