driving from Munich -Prague-Berlin

Any suggestions for a car rental - pick up in Munich - drop off in Berlin - would prefer one with GPS.

This is a route I would recommend to use the trains.

Cheaper. And you won%26#39;t need a car in these cities. Esp. the centre of Prague is not car friendly at all.

If you want to rent a car

- you have to check if you can drive with the car into the Czech Republic. Many rental companies won%26#39;t allow this. Or at least not with their more expensive models.

- you%26#39;ll need a vignette (toll sticker) to use the Czech autobahns

Try economycarrentals.com--make sure you indicate that you plan to drive the car into the Czech Republic.

Thank you, economycarrentals.com website was very informative - in a nutshell, do not try to rent an Audi, BMW or MB if planning to visit any of the former east block countries. Very unfortunate. And yes, international drivers permit is required but reasonably uncomplicated to get from CAA or AAA. Thanks again.
