Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to go to Munich from Frankfurt and back in one day?
I have done some research and it seems most of the Eagle Nest tours(purpose of going to Munich) leave at 830 AM daily. Does anyone know of any that leave later? Better yet has anyone done the trip in one day?
Ideally we would arrive in Munich and move on to the Eagle%26#39;s Nest Tour and then head back to Frankfurt where we are booked at a hotel for a few days.
is this even possible?
Thank you!

It is possible to go from Frankfurt to Munich in one day, but not a good use of your time. There are plenty of interesting daytrip possibilities from Frankfurt that would be better than going to Munich just for the %26quot;Eagles Nest%26quot; tour.
Save the tour for a future trip when you can spend some time in Munich and enjoy what that city and the area have to offer.

That´s insane. It´s like doing a day trip from Toronto to Montreal just to join a tour that goest to Quebec City. The distances are similar.
Train Frankfurt to Munich takes 3:10 hours. A bus tour to Berchtesgaden will take another 2 1/2 to 3 hours one way. In other words: 12 hours on the road/in the train for 2-3 hours sightseeing???

I second Altamiro, it makes no sense to try this in one day, you will spend half your day on the road, in trains, waiting for trains and see nothing or not much...
