One day in Berchtesgaden

We%26#39;ll in Berchstesgaden for a full day. We want to see salt mine, Lake Konigsee and Eagle Nest if possible. We don%26#39;t have a car. We%26#39;re staying very close to the station.

Is it possible to do all three using public transport?

What%26#39;s the best way to do? Should we buy a Bayern ticket first thing in the morning?

This will be a Saturday. So is there any other week end tickets available?

Yes. If you stay there overnight you%26#39;ll receive a Kurkarte (guest card) which entitles you to free ride on nearly all regional bus routes.

Not covered are the

- boats on lake Königssee

- the bus up to the Eagle%26#39;s Nest from the documentation center upwards

But the Kurkarte gives you discounts, e.g.
