Hi all,
I was hoping to book a double sleeper on the CNL from Amsterdam to Prague on 13 September, however, the economy tickets sold out before I booked (the 238euro for 2 people tickets). It%26#39;s now 350.
I tried playing with alternative start locations on the same route and found I could get a double sleeper at the 238euro price, departing from Oberhausen. I could then get a ICE train from AMS - Oberhausen for 38euro for 2. I%26#39;d rather pay e276 and catch 2 trains than e350 for two in the double sleeper all the way from AMS.
So, my question is - what%26#39;s in Oberhausen? Is there somewhere near the station we could get dinner? We%26#39;d be arriving at 8.24pm, then departing on the CNL at 9.39pm. Or is this too late to get a meal?
Thanks!

Strange as CNL trains use global price. I.e. Amsterdam to Prague costs the same like Oberhausen to Prague. A place on a night train is also always only sold once, it%26#39;s not possible to buy a ticket for this night train from Amsterdam to Oberhausen at all. If you check the details for this train run you%26#39;ll see that between Amsterdam and Bielefeld only departure times are shown and between Berlin and Prague only arrival times.

But you don%26#39;t have time for either.

Sure.
%26gt; Or is this too late to get a meal?
No.

Thanks for your reply.
I do realise a place on a train is only sold once - what I said was that the cheapest price in a double sleeper for the AMS-Prague CNL was 238euro and was sold out. By %26#39;sold out%26#39; I mean just at that price point. I was however, able to book the CNL from Oberhausen to Prague at 238euro, so the special still applied departing Oberhausen. I said I was going to book an ICE train between AMS-Oberhausen, not the CNL for this sector.
Anyway, thanks for replying.
