I am looking for a day and half hike near Oberstdorf (Germany).
I thought of 2 options:
1. Baad - Bargunt - Widderstein - Mindeleimer Hutte. Mindeleimer Hutte - Fiderepass - Kanzelwand - Fellhorn
2. Edmund probst - Lautbacher Eck - Prinz luitpold. Prinz luitpold - Wildenfeld Hutte - oytalhaus - Oberstdorf (maybe via Gerstruben)
Which one is best?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Oded

I see here only rather long day hikes. No half day hike at all.

I am looking for 1.5 days hike, including sleeping at one of the huts there.

Really nice is the Krumbacher Höhenweg between Mindelheimer Hütte and Fidererpass-Hütte. 2,5 - 3 hours.

Choose one of the ascents lasting 2-3 hours.
e.g.
Bödmen - Gemsltal - Geißhornsattel - Mindelheimer Hütte (3 hours)
- - -
Mindelheimer Hütte - Fidererpass-Hütte (2,5-3 hours)
- - -
Fidererpass-Hütte - Fellhornbahn middle station (2,5 hours)
Fidererpass-Hütte - Kanzelwandgipfel - Kanzelwandbahn mountain station (2,5-3 hours)
3 half day tours you can combine to a 1,5 day tour choosing either of both huts to stay overnight.
The ascents to the huts in the Allgäu involve always quite a lot altitude meters. Easily 1000 or more. Longer day tours between the huts (but than you need more than 1,5 days) are easier than longer day tours including the ascent to the huts.
