Berlin Shoenefeld to Belmondo Hotel using public transport

Im going to the Hotel Belmondo in January with my family and was wondering how to get from the airport to the hotel using public transport. Many thanks.

Hotel Belmondo is a 5 minutes walk from Berlin Zoologischer Garten train station. Thus train from Schönefeld Airport to Berlin Zoologischer Garten train station.

DB timetable

fahrinfo-berlin.de/Fahrinfo/bin/query.bin/en

From: SXF

To: Berlin Zoologischer Garten

But make this query rather on short notice. Yet is definitely too early.

Forgot:

Single ticket is EUR 2,80.

Thank you very much for the very quick response. I know it is 6 months before i travel but i like to plan ahead well in advance. I was going to book a private transfer but this was 130 Euros return and this was the cheapest i could find but a total of 23 Euros return for 4 people using the train is far better of course. Can i ask 1 more question is it a lower level train or upper level?

%26gt;a total of 23 Euros return for 4 people

There are minigroup day tickets (16,10 € for up to 5 persons) which make more sense if you plan to do any other travel within the city on the same day

%26gt;Can i ask 1 more question is it a lower level train or upper level?

What do you mean???

No idea what you mean with this.

But it%26#39;s at train running on surface. In central Berlin even on an elevated railroad. Some of the trains on this route have also double deck coaches.

I am surprised that the only transfer you could have found from the airport to the Belmondo was for 130 EUR - Most transfers from Schoenefeld cost around 40 EUR per direction (this is also usually the price of a normal taxi, without having the chauffeur waiting you up), so obviously someone is making a nice profit off those who choose the 130 EUR option.

I meant is it an metro/underground or top level train but im sure ill find the correct train ok. I considered a taxi but i dont think they carry any more than 3 people which would mean we would need 2 taxis as there are 4 people travelling. Some transfers cost €360 return im not sure if many people book them at that price.
