staying near Arabellapark during oktoberfest?

We will be in Munich during Oktoberfest and we were looking to stay near Arabellapark. Is it a good location?

well its easy access to public transport... not a sexy area... known for business hotel... but during the O Fest weeks you dont get to pick and choose unless your budget is in excess of 200 euros a night...

Actually it%26#39;s not a bad choice at all since you get direct access to the Oktoberfest grounds with the U4 line from Arabellapark...

I agree with the previous post. We stayed at the Sheraton Arabella park and it%26#39;s really close to the Oktoberfest site-3 stops from hotel. Public Transport is accessible right at the front of the hotel.Very convenient.

By the way and to prevent confusion, the former Arabella Sheraton is now called The Westin Grand Munich Arabellapark...
