I am renting a car and travelling from the airport to FuggerStr, Berlin. When I last visited Berlin, the Autobahn near Schoenefeld was incomplete and I used local roads (B179) to get to the A100 Autobahn. I understand it is OK to use the new Autobahn now from the airport. My SatNav shows me turning right out of the airport onto am Seegraben then going beyond Autobahn entrance...doing a U turn in order to get back onto the Autobahn (A113)
Do I have to do that or can I simply turn left under road bridge and enter Autobahn that way?
Local help would be appreciated. Thanks

I didn%26#39;t get a response from any of the %26#39;Resident berliners%26#39; on the Forum and - having just got back from my trip - I found the answer myself!
If anyone needs to travel from Berlin Schoenefeld to Central Berlin, by rental car, simply come out of the Rental car park and up to the traffic lights. Turn right onto %26#39;am Seegraben%26#39; then go immediately into left lane of the dual cariageway....under the Autobahn overhead bridge and turn left to join the slip road onto the A113 which later joins the A100 Berliner Ring.
Some more valuable information I learned on the trip. If you have a problem finding a petrol station on your trip back to the airport (we did) just come off the A113 at Schoenefeld Nord exit then down to traffic lights and turn left (turning right takes you to Airport) Petrol Station is about 800 metres along that road on the left side. Better filling up there than let the Rental Company do it at 3 Euros a litre!!
