Oops - need hotel for 1 night around Mitte

We changed our travel plans and now need a hotel for just 1 night in Berlin - Mitte area hopefully.

We arrive Berlin in the early AM and have a whole day before leaving the next morning for Vienna. We plan to take the early afternoon Berlin Insider Walk tour with Insider Tours. We then return to Berlin for 5 days and are staying at the Hilton Berlin - but they have nothing for us on our arrival day. Hence the need for first night%26#39;s lodging.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

I have found here a vacancy at the Hilton, but in fact, it is the most expensive one of all five-star hotels in Mitte for the night

thanks lylou! What I should have said about the Hilton is .... my wife gets a deeply discounted employee rate at Hilton hotels, but we can%26#39;t get that rate for the first night - and the rack rates are just way too expensive.

Clipper looks good - I%26#39;ll contact them directly.
