freising on stopover...early morning?

hi we are on stopover for 4hrs on the 18th December in Munich, we were thinking of maybe grabbing a taxi into Freising for a few hours and having a look around, have breakfast etc. Does anyone know a good area of town to head to to watch the town come to life (possibly) at 6am to 8am? Is there a plaza or square and some good reasonably priced cafe%26#39;s that we could grab a seat at and watch the German world go by by for a few hours?

bear in mind it will be cold, perhaps snow!

And also bear in mind that breakfast in Germany masy not accord with what you%26#39;re used to.

There%26#39;s a main street with some eateries, but don%26#39;t know about that early. I%26#39;d be surprised to be honest, if there%26#39;s much call to be open then in such a small town.

Really don%26#39;t know about Freising, but if you have 4 hours you might as well take the S-Bahn into Munich, (it takes about 40 minutes to Marienplatz), and there go to Café Frischhut (also called Schmalznudel) near Viktualienmarkt. They open at 5am...
